Dr. Chad Herrick
Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Herrick is originally from Mansfield, and currently resides in Dublin with his wife, Dr. Nancy Herrick and his two children. He also has 3 cats, 2 lizards, a hermit crab, and a dog. He enjoys spending time golfing, fishing and traveling. Dr. Herrick attended undergrad school at Denison University for a biology major. He attended veterinary school at Ross University for three years, then he finished up his fourth year at The University of Illinois in 2002.
Angela Kinney

Angela has been with Northtowne Animal Clinic since 2000. She lives in Heath with her husband and cat, Sassy. Angela is very outgoing and loves being social, which makes her a perfect fit at our clinic.
Adam Elsawy
Veterinary Technician
Adam is a registered veterinary technician. He came to us from Medvet in 2022. He lives in Newark and is a proud pet parent to Archer, Raynor, Bingo, Trooper and Rocko. Adam is very outgoing and great with people and pets.
Nichole Valdez
Veterinary Assistant
Nichole is a veterinary assistant who has been with Northtowne Animal Clinic since 2009. She has a very tender heart, especially for senior animals. Nichole has a special gift for helping clients deal with saying good bye to a beloved pet. Nichole lives in Newark with her husband, son, daughter, two dogs and one cat.
Morgan McMillan
Veterinary Assistant
Morgan is a veterinary assistant that has been with Northtowne Animal Clinic since 2020. She lives in Utica with her husband and two sons. She is a pet parent to dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, ponies and a hedgehog. Her love and passion for animals makes her an asset to Northtowne Animal Clinic.
Mindy Nelson
Receptionist
Mindy has been with Northtowne Animal Clinic since 2013. Although now officially retired, Mindy is happy to fill in when needed. She lives in Mount Vernon with her husband and dog, Collin. She enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time on their sailboat on Lake Erie.
Hilary Mullins
Receptionist
Hilary has been at Northtowne Animal Clinic since 2022. She is a mother of four and dog mom to a husky named Kiba. Hilary is a talented seamstress, enjoys health and fitness and spending time outdoors.
Katie Rath
Veterinary Technician
Katie rejoined our team in 2024. She lives in Granville with her husband and two children. She is also the proud pet parent of Georgia. Katie has a gentleness and kindness for the pets that come through our doors. She has a true passion for her job.
